What Gedbex Wash is

Gedbex Wash is a mobile app that lets you browse car wash locations, compare wash plans, buy a pass, show that pass at the counter when you check in, and keep track of how many washes you have used. It is a pass wallet and planning tool. It does not itself wash vehicles, operate wash sites, or employ their staff.

Licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store you got it from.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or distribute the app, or use it to build a competing service, except where the law allows despite this restriction.

Passes and purchases

• Passes are sold as in-app purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Pricing, tax, billing, and refunds are governed by that store's terms.
• A pass is valid for the plan, quantity, and period shown at the time of purchase. Expired passes and unused washes are not carried over unless the plan says otherwise.
• A pass is for one vehicle owner and may not be sold, transferred, or shared. Passes that appear to be duplicated or shared may be refused at check-in.
• Subscription plans renew automatically until cancelled in your app store account settings. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge.
• Use "Restore purchases" in the app to recover a pass on a new device using the same store account.

Check-in and the wash operator

Showing your pass at the counter is a request for service from the wash operator at that site. The operator decides whether the pass is accepted, sets its own opening hours, vehicle restrictions, and site rules, and is responsible for the wash and for any damage to your vehicle while on site.

We are not a party to the arrangement between you and the operator, and we do not guarantee that any site will be open, available, or accept a particular plan on a given day. Plan and location details in the app are provided in good faith and may change.

Your responsibilities

• Keep your device secure. Anyone with your unlocked phone can show your pass.
• Log check-ins honestly. The usage tally is kept on your device to help you; it is not a substitute for the operator's own records.
• Do not use the app while driving.
• Do not attempt to forge, alter, or replay pass codes, or to interfere with the app or any wash site's systems.

No account, your data

The app does not require an account. Your pass, usage tally, and preferences are stored on your device. If you delete the app or lose your device without a backup, that local data is gone; restoring purchases will bring back the pass but not the tally. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Intellectual property

The app, its design, text, graphics, and the Gedbex Wash name and logo belong to us or our licensors. Wash operator names and marks belong to their owners and appear only to identify their sites.

Availability and changes

We may update, change, or discontinue features of the app, add or remove plans and locations, or stop offering the app altogether. Where a change would materially affect a pass you have already paid for, we will do what we reasonably can to honour it or point you to the store's refund process.

Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, that a pass will be accepted at every site, or that plan information is always current.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, for loss of data, or for anything that happens to your vehicle at a wash site. Our total liability to you for all claims relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for passes through the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Termination

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your licence if you breach these Terms, misuse passes, or interfere with wash sites. Clauses that by their nature should survive (including CL-07, CL-09, CL-10, and CL-12) continue after termination.

Governing law and changes to these Terms

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which you normally reside, to the extent that law applies to consumer contracts, and otherwise by the laws of the publisher's place of residence. We may update these Terms; the version and date at the top of this page will change, and continued use after an update means you accept it.
